Q&A: Tingles during healing

Q:  The last 2 times I have given my Mom Reiki - I have gotten a strange sensation across my face.  It starts on the left side and feels as if someone is near, but then it starts to feel like pin pricks and it travels across the bridge of my nose.  The last time it became kinda uncomfortable.  I haven't been able to figure out if I'm being told to stop- too much energy, or my face is bothering( she has trigeminal neuralgia), or what I need to know.  When I stop giving Reiki, it stops.  Any thoughts?  Many times I have felt someone is touching my face, but the pin pricks is something new.  Thanks, V

A:  During healing, it is very normal for the healer to have enhanced spirit awareness and/or physical sensations (especially touches and tingles).  Most likely you are picking up on something your mother is processing physically (such as the trigeminal neuraligia).  The touches are your spirit healers letting you know they are helping to clear the issue from your mother during your healing session.  However, I suggest that when are in the process of experiencing the pinpricks that you ask your soul what the significance is - you will receive a definitive answer if you do not try to engage your thinking mind.

Flashes of light

I am a medium , so I 'see' things. *smile* Well, every now and then, I see a small light. (And I don't mean an orb or a light flying around the room like Tinkerbell.) I am talking about a small pinprick of light that remains stationary and lasts for 2-3 seconds. It resembles a star from the night sky, albeit a very miniature one. This little 'flash of light' is a spirit. Sometimes I see a 'flash of light' (or a miniature star) around clients during readings --- either near the client's chair or in another part of the room. Also, I remember seeing them in a museum, on the trail in the woods, here at home, and at church. When I see that pinprick of light, I focus on asking the spirit to provide me with more information and to share their essence . Your job during a mediumship reading

If you are the person who is receiving a mediumship reading and desiring spirit contact, you have a very important job --- CONFIRMATION. This means confirmation either by your own personal knowledge or thru the personal knowledge of another person known to the spirit.
