Sidetracked

As some of you may have noticed, I am not blogging much lately.  I have plenty of spiritual thoughts and experiences to share it's just that every time I think about blogging, life picks up the pace. I will literally sit down at the computer to type out a Blogpost and without fail one (or both) of my sons captures my attention OR my husband needs me OR a client calls, and the blogging thought disappears with a *poof*. Living is a full -time job, after all.  I am human and I still have to deal with mundane life stuff, such as ... cooking meals, washing laundry, sweeping and mopping floors, and other housekeeping getting my children to and from school and extracurricular activities supporting my husband in his interests connecting with and helping my close friends/family through their life events and the list goes on And now, the Lily Dale summer Season starts this Friday!!  So whatever good intentions I had of accomplishing tasks, ...

Life in the Deep Freeze

The day after I blogged about the weather , I watched a documentary series about Antarctica titled "Life in the Deep Freeze."  Such is the synchronicity of life - I was presented with an instant gratitude moment!  This series about the coldest place on Earth is hosted by David Attenborough, the same voice behind the Planet Earth seres.  He and his film team spent three years braving mountainous seas and blizzards to capture life at the South Pole. It's all fun and games until someone gets their eye poked! Well, a funny thing happened on the way to the Blog . . . Three days ago, I was telling my family that I need to schedule my annual eye checkup. Two days ago, I was inspired to write my most recent blogpost Seeing Spirit with Clairvoyance . And that night as I was responding to my son's cries at 4:00 a.m. it happened. In the near pitch darkness, I was bending down to pick my baby boy up when he put his hand up and his finger poked my eye. It was excruciatingly painful!!! And it still hurts! [I've had my eye poked before, but those were just glancing blows.] I commandeered my son's Frosty Bear ice pack that I reserve for his bumps and bruises from walking and other adventures. And I stationed myself on the couch for a good couple of hours as I joined the League of the Temporarily Blind. That was yesterday. My eye is recovering, but my point (ha ha) is that themes happen. I am noticing the pattern (eye doctor, spi...
